Amber Young has been a part of the Yandara teaching staff since 2009. She was introduced to the yogic concepts at a young age by her mother Mercy, a bhakti yoga kirtan musician, as well as a certified yoga instructor. Craig Perkins, E-RYT 5000

Craig is registered with Yoga Alliance with over 45 years and 15,000 hours of yoga teaching and yoga teacher training. In 1968 Craig trained under Yogi Ananda Bhavanani (a follower of Swami Sivananda) in Vancouver, Canada, and became a certified Sivananda-style yoga instructor. At this same time, he began his 30-year meditation study with both Sant Kirpal Singh, and later with his successor Sant Darshan Singh, he also studied, and became initiated in, Tibetan Buddhism, and furthered his Hatha Yoga studies...

As a dedicated adventure athlete, Aaron gravitated toward the slower, recovery oriented yoga practices: restorative yoga, yin yoga and his signature yinyasa (slow flow) technique. For 15 years he experimented and innovated in these yoga styles, creating new vocabulary and perfecting sequences. Aaron’s restorative yoga classes were popular and recognized for their unique contribution to the evolution of BKS Iyengar’s original style. Aaron has led restorative teacher training modules around the world, including partnering with Saul David Raye, Daniel Stewart and Annie Carpenter.
