              About Yandara
Yoga Teacher Training Institute

"In Silence the heart illumines; veil after veil is removed.
In the heart shines the Light of Love.
When the Light of Love is seen shining within your heart you behold the Light in all.
Your heart will be filled with love and compassion for all."
- Kirpal Singh

Following  traditional yoga  the emphasis of our program is an immersion into a yoga/nature lifestyle to help promote inner peace. To this end we have included silent reflection time (through meditation) and revitalization through sun, surf and nature.

Yandara is non-sectarian and anyone interested in yoga is welcome to enroll.  Some people hesitate to become yoga teachers because they feel they don't have the right body type or aren't flexible enough or are too old or too young.Yoga is for everyone. Everyone has the perfect yoga body. Our yoga teacher training is open to all yoga practitioners with a minimum of six months yoga practice. Yoga instructor certification is based on the successful comprehension and mastery of the principles and practice of yoga and the ability to communicate them to others.

Yandara Yoga School

Yandara Yoga Institute is a beautiful ocean front retreat on the Pacific side of Mexico's Baja Peninsula. The combination of nature, seclusion, delicious food and easy access from the USA and Canada make it the perfect place for yoga teacher training.

The unspoiled, white sandy beaches extend for miles. You can  relax and meditate on the beach to the ever-present rhythm of the waves. Just two miles up the beach is one of the premiere surfing beaches in North America. The climate is ideal, the sun shines year round with cooling sea breezes and a clear sky particular to this part of the world. Yandara  is in a rural, very safe and crime free location. There is 80% less violent crime in southern Baja Mexico than  Southern California. Please visit our "Travel"  page for more information.
