Walking meditation was a beautiful way to begin the day at Yandara. I enjoyed waking up with the waves and reflecting on the day to come.
Potential students should come for the yoga and stay for the food! The kitchen did a wonderful job at providing and excellent variety of yummy prana charged cuisine.

Kristen Parrish Biography
Kristen took yoga classes on and off during college, but developed a regular practice shortly after starting graduate school at The University of Texas in 2008, through the UT FitWell program. Initially yoga was just something that helped her stay physically active, but eventually became a way for her to clear her mind, understand her body and improve her life. After a few years of study , Kristen wanted to complete a teacher training to bring her closer to her own practice and the heart of yoga, and had no concrete plans to teach. However, after graduating from Yandara Yoga's 200 hour teacher training in the summer of 2012, she felt compelled to share the gifts of yoga that she rediscovered during her time in teacher training. Kristen taught Vinyasa Flow yoga for a year through the UT FitWell program where she first found yoga over 4 years ago. After moving to Dallas and completing David Swenson's 40 hour Ashtanga Primary Series teacher training in 2013, she is committed to developing her own Mysore Ashtanga practice and sharing the joy of Ashtanga with others in the Dallas area.
