Where are your teacher trainings located?
We offer teacher trainings in both Baja California and in Bali.
Our main location is in Baja California where we have created a very sacred space on the beach that is off grid in which for you to truly immerse yourself in the Yogic lifestyle. When yoga fist began in India, students would immerse themselves in daily practice at an ashram. This is what allowed students to truly gain all the teachings yoga has to offer. Our “retreat” is nestled right on the beach away from everything where you will be able to truly explore yourself and absorb the wonderful teachings in a relaxed environment where you are supported by beautiful nature and loving friends.
Here is the coastline in which we reside…
Here is our off-grid solar powered village where we are completely secluded and safe…
Our organic farm in which we prepare your daily meals…
Preparing and enjoying our organic meals…
We have some pretty decent sunsets too…
What style of yoga do you teach? What is your approach or perspective to yoga?
Because we believe that each style of yoga has its own benefits and that each student is drawn to what works for them, we can accommodate almost any style of yoga you are interested in. Our veteran teachers have traveled the world to study with some of the greatest yoga masters and now offer these teachings to our students. Whether you are compelled to study Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Dharma Yoga, etc…we can accommodate the style that fits your needs.
What is the teacher training curriculum like?
The Yandara Yoga Teacher Training program emphasizes the importance of a deep and holistic transformation into our essential loving nature. What are the classes like during the teacher training?
During our teacher training program you will benefit immensely from the emphasis that is placed on practice teaching time, one to one mentoring, and small class sizes. On a daily basis, right from the start, you will be teaching fellow students and receiving their support and feedback along with the guidance of your instructors. Our training programs allow you to learn a significant amount of information in a short period of time as you are ‘embodying’ the knowledge by putting it into practice each step of the way.
In addition to learning how to teach asana, meditation, philosophy, and pranayama practices you will learn the art of living and teaching from the heart. While at Yandara Yoga Institute you will have the opportunity to deepen your connection with your own inner wisdom and teacher. Various practices and experiences will be made available to you, allowing you to access a place of heart-felt presence. Sharing this radiance and joy with your students is truly a gift that will uplift and inspire them to find the same! We believe this is the true path of a yoga teacher.
Here are some images during class time…
One of the great perks of training at our school is that our “classroom” extends into nature and the beach and is not just boxed into the “studio”
What else would I be doing besides the training? What activities would there be?
Because of our beautiful location on the beach, we love to play in nature!
Since this is our front and backyard, we like to go on walks and hikes….
On some days we like to dance or have Kirtan gatherings…
Of course we love doing yoga on the beach…
And we like to get together on the beach at night…
And you will definitely have plenty of time and space for self-reflection and contemplation so that you can absorb all the teachings…
