Yandara 8-day Yoga Teacher Trainings.
Yandara now offers 8 day modules, 100 hour, yoga teacher trainings. In order to receive your 200 Hour Certification with Yoga Alliance you must complete two 8 day trainings (A & B).
Your second module 8 day training (B) will be customized to be a continuation of your 1st training (A). These programs are open to all levels. Including those seeking to deepen their meditation and/or yoga practice.

Sample of Daily 8 day Yoga Teacher Training Schedule
6:30 AM to 9:00 AM: Practice and Instruction of yoga flow and walking and sitting meditation.9:00 AM: Tea and fruit.
9:30 AM to 12:30 PM: Yoga Class: Teacher Training Practice and Instruction.
12:30 PM: Brunch: Delicious vegetarian meals are served buffet style.
2:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Student Practice Teaching & Workshop and Communication/ Presentation Skills Workshop
6:00 PM: Dinner: Delicious vegetarian meals (which include dairy and eggs) are served buffet style.
Yoga School Program Information.
Yandara Yoga Teacher Training emphasizes safe, effective, and inspiring teaching methods which prepare you to be a confident and competent yoga instructor. We offer excellent training in teaching skills, planning a class, communication skills, creating confidence, and posture corrections. The program also offers instruction and experience in how to live the yogic lifestyle -- enhancing personal health and well being through yoga.
You will learn modifications, and adjustments in the postures, as well as aspects of other yoga styles. This will enable you to formulate your own personal teaching style. We offer a non-denominational, ecumenical style of yoga instruction, comprised of the strengths of different yoga lineages including Yin yoga. You will also receive guidance on how to establish your profession as a yoga teacher.
1. Practice of and learning how to teach a basic beginning yoga class, including:
- Asanas taught with precision and alignment.
- Sun Salutation.
- Pranayama (includes techniques from the Desikachar method): Abdominal Breathing, Full yogic breath, Ujjayi, Alternate Nostril.
- Various Meditation methods; mindfulness, walking meditation,use of a mantra.
2. Yogic theory and philosophy, including:
- The Four Paths of Yoga.
- The Yoga Sutras, including Yamas and Niyamas.
3. Anatomy and Physiology as they relate to yoga practice.
4. Satya: Communication Skills and Meditation in Nature..
